Alan Keating enters Million Dollar Game IV after five straight winning sessions and $3.86 million in profits. He will face Peter Wang, four WSOP bracelet winners, Eric Wasserson, and Stanley Tang as the $1 million buy-in game returns.
Alan Keating will return to the Million Dollar Game with a chance to extend one of the most successful runs in the history of the high-stakes livestreamed cash game.
However, the latest edition presents a significant challenge as the $1 million buy-in event shifts to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) feature table on Friday.
The first Million Dollar Game with a seven-figure minimum buy-in was livestreamed in 2023. That session also marked the only time Keating finished the event with a loss. At that stage, he was still relatively new to the mainstream poker audience.
Since then, Keating has turned the game into one of his strongest stages. He has recorded five consecutive winning sessions and accumulated a net profit of $3.86 million across that stretch.
While Keating's results have been impressive, one player has performed even better in the event's history.
Peter Wang, who has developed a friendly rivalry with Keating, has earned $5.28 million through just six Million Dollar Game appearances.
Both players are set to compete in Million Dollar Game IV, which begins at 3 p.m. PT and will be streamed on HCL's YouTube channel.
The upcoming line-up features several accomplished tournament and cash game players. Keating's opponents will include Peter Wang along with four WSOP bracelet winners: Martin Kabrhel, Santhosh Suvarna, Chang (Jack) Lee, and Michael "Texas Mike" Moncek.
The table will also feature high-stakes cash game veteran Eric Wasserson and DoorDash co-founder Stanley Tang.
Tang holds a unique distinction as the only other player besides Keating to have appeared in all four editions of the Million Dollar Game.
