Day 45 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas delivered a packed schedule of action.

The day featured a gold bracelet victory, the official bursting of the Main Event money bubble, and numerous high-profile players securing substantial chip stacks across multiple tournament variants.

Moneymaker Bubbles Main Event; Mizrachi Advances

The marquee tournament of the summer, Event #82: $10,000 WSOP Main Event No-Limit Hold'em World Championship, narrowed its remaining field down to 533 players.

The highly anticipated money bubble burst when former champion Chris Moneymaker was eliminated, marking the official conclusion of the bubble phase.

Meanwhile, reigning champion Michael Mizrachi successfully bagged a stack for Day 5, keeping his hopes alive for a potential back-to-back title run.

Weber Claims Ultra Stack Title

The lone gold bracelet awarded on Day 45 went to Eric Weber in Event #86: $600 Ultra Stack No-Limit Hold'em.

Weber, who originally learned the game around his kitchen table during childhood, navigated the field to capture his first career WSOP bracelet alongside a $400,000 top prize.

Rezaei Commands $50K High Roller Field

Despite the premium price tag, Event #90: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em drew 103 entries on its opening day.

By the end of the scheduled levels, only 51 competitors remained in the field. Austria's Daniel Rezaei secured the overall chip lead, bagging more chips than any other survivor to close out the night.

Unscheduled Day 3 For Mystery Bounty PLO

Event #87: $1,000 Mystery Bounty PLO required an extra day of play after failing to crown a champion as originally scheduled. The tournament director paused play with 34 competitors remaining, all fighting for the $305,000 first-place prize.

Four players eclipsed the eight-figure mark: Shawn Stroke leads with 15,550,000 chips, closely followed by Christopher Vitch with 15,175,000. Wojciech Barzantny (11,050,000) and Sameer Batra (10,925,000) also secured massive stacks for the unscheduled third day.

Teliani Surges in Gladiators of Poker Day 1b

The second starting flight of Event #88: $300 Gladiators of Poker attracted 2,174 entries, but only 65 players survived the day to advance to Day 2.

Canada's Jolnar Teliani topped the flight by bagging 3,265,000 chips, making her the solitary player from Day 1b to pass the three-million mark. Teliani entered the WSOP following three low-stakes tournament victories.

Mid-Stakes Championship Flight 1b Draws Large Turnout

Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold'em saw 951 players buy into Day 1b, a figure that nearly doubled the attendance of the opening flight.

A total of 263 players advanced to Day 2. According to the WSOP LIVE app, Portugal's Luis Faria captured the chip lead with 431,000. Agustin Naranja finished close behind with 413,000, while Yuxi Huang ended the session with 399,500.

Elezra Thrives in Pick Your PLO Debut

Omaha specialists gathered for Event #91: $1,500 Pick Your PLO, an event allowing players to choose from multiple Pot-Limit Omaha variations, including double board options. Poker Hall of Fame member Eli Elezra excelled, bagging the third-largest stack of the night at 701,000 chips.

Only two players accumulated more chips than the five-time bracelet winner: Emory Peebles with 752,000 and $25K Fantasy Draft pick Jun Weng with 719,000.
