Santhosh Suvarna won the largest pot in High Stakes Poker history during Episode 6 of Season 16, capturing a total of $2,421,500. Holding a set of queens, Suvarna defeated Kalish when the board was run twice to scoop the chips.

High Stakes Poker has witnessed a historic milestone during its sixteenth season, shattering previous records to deliver the largest pot in the history of the show.

Last year, Alan Keating claimed a record $1.4 million pot on the program. However, that substantial figure has now been eclipsed by a massive three-way pot that developed in the latest season.

The current season of High Stakes Poker features an eleven-episode run, with the first eight episodes currently available to stream exclusively on PokerGO.

The line-up features a mix of seasoned veterans and recreational personalities. Among those appearing are Jennifer Tilly, Andrew Robl, and Justin Gavri, alongside comedian Kevin Hart and recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Santhosh Suvarna.

Suvarna entered the game following a volatile stretch of high-stakes action. On June 11, he secured a victory in the $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em event for $1,992,870.

The very next day, he lost $1.1 million of those winnings during Hustler Casino Live's Million Dollar Game at the WSOP. However, Episode 6 of High Stakes Poker presented Suvarna with an opportunity to completely offset those losses in a single hand.

The record-breaking hand began with three players holding stacks of over $800,000 each. When the flop fell 6♣Q♦A♦, it connected significantly with multiple players. Action was checked to Suvarna, who held a set of queens and wagered $125,000. Kiki called the bet holding top pair, top kicker, along with backdoor straight and flush draws.

The action escalated rapidly when Kalish, who was chasing a low flush draw, moved all in for $948,000. Elamawy quickly folded after completely missing the flop.

Suvarna, holding the largest stack at the table, made the call. Senor Tilt opted to fold, preserving his remaining $648,000 and leaving the remaining players to contest a pot that had grown to $2,421,500.
To determine the ultimate winner, both remaining players agreed to run the turn and river cards twice. An outright win by either player would officially secure the hand's status as the largest pot in High Stakes Poker history.

Suvarna hit a full house on the first runout, and with neither player improving on the second board, he successfully secured the entire $2,421,500 pot. The historic hand concluded the episode in brutal fashion for Mr. DraftKings.
