Day 13 of the 2026 WSOP featured two bracelet wins, including Kristen Foxen’s sixth title and Naoya Kihara’s second victory in three days. Chris Brewer, Sean Winter, and Anthony Reategui secured key chip leads across the high-stakes tournament schedule.
Day 13 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) delivered a packed schedule at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
The action spanned multiple tiers of bankrolls, featuring a pair of $25,000 buy-in events alongside two $10,000 buy-ins and a $500 Freezeout tournament. By the end of the day, two new champions were crowned and several marquee fields were narrowed significantly.
The definitive highlight of the day occurred in Event #19: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em. Kristen Foxen navigated a star-studded field to emerge victorious, capturing her sixth career WSOP gold bracelet. Along with the historic title, the Canadian pro secured a payout of $1,773,083, marking a new career-high score.
Hardware was also awarded in Event #23: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship. Allen Kessler made a deep run but ultimately finished in third place, missing out on his first career bracelet.
The final heads-up battle saw Naoya Kihara defeat James Cheung to claim the title, the bracelet, and the top prize of $301,970. Remarkably, this victory marks Kihara’s second bracelet win within a three-day span, with both titles coming in $10,000 buy-in events.
High-stakes mixed game action continued with Event #27: $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship. The tournament attracted an elite field of 135 entries on Day 1. By the end of the opening session, 66 players advanced to Day 2.
Although this variant typically draws premier mixed game specialists, it was two big bet specialists, led by Chris Brewer, who secured the top positions in the chip counts.
In Event #18: $1,500 Monster Stack, the Day 2d flight commenced with 2,153 hopefuls. Only 269 competitors successfully navigated the structure to advance further.
Among those positioning themselves for a deep run was Jason Wheeler, who bagged a top 10 chip stack of 2,300,000 as he targets his second career WSOP bracelet.
Event #22: $1,500 Big O completed its second day of play with Anthony Reategui seizing the overall chip lead. Reategui, who won his first WSOP championship 21 years ago, put himself in prime position to contend for additional poker hardware as the field thins.
The short-handed high roller arena saw Event #24: $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em wrap up its second day of play. Out of the starting field, only seven players remain in contention for the $1,286,285 first-place prize. Sean Winter bagged the overnight chip lead to headline the final seven.
Much of the attention during the session centered on 10-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel, who entered the day looking to become just the third player in poker history to win more than 10 WSOP bracelets.
Massive fields were also a theme for lower stakes options. Event #25: $500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em drew a crowd of 4,100 entrants. Featuring swift 30-minute levels and a strict freezeout format, the field was rapidly trimmed over 22 levels of play, leaving just 162 players to bag chips for the next stage.
Finally, Event #26: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em kicked off with 968 entries, of which 160 survived Day 1. Canada's Xuan Liu enjoyed a highly productive session, bagging up a top three stack of 585,000. The only players to finish the night with larger stacks than Liu were Jason Palker with 742,000 and Srivinay Irrinki with 612,000.
