WSOP Day 29 featured nine tournaments inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Prashanth Nataraj won Event #59, while Benny Glaser secured the chip lead among the final 15 players remaining in the prestigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

The 29th day of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) featured nine events running simultaneously inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, marking one of the busiest stretches of the summer.

While multiple tournaments pared down their fields to the final tables, only one player managed to claim a gold bracelet on this highly active day of action.

Prashanth Nataraj emerged victorious in Event #59: $500 Salute to Warriors, capturing his first career WSOP gold bracelet alongside a top prize of $208,800.

Speaking to PokerNews after his win, Nataraj shared that his initial objective heading into the tournament was simply to surpass his previous career-best cash of $40,000.

After crossing that milestone, he shifted his focus to securing the title, ultimately succeeding to become the official champion of the event.

Event #60: $50,000 Poker Players Championship has reached its final 15 contenders. Leading the elite remaining field is eight-time bracelet winner Benny Glaser, who bagged the top stack of 4,705,000 chips.

Glaser will carry the chip lead into the penultimate day of play, but he faces pressure from a highly competitive chasing pack.

Paul Volpe sits closest to the leader with 4,020,000 chips. Kristopher Tong, who held the chip lead at the end of Day 2, sits in third with 3,305,000 chips. Rounding out the top five stacks are Nick Guagenti with 2,850,000 and Josh Arieh with 2,640,000.

In Event #50: $1,500 Millionaire Maker, Michael Monroig leads the final nine players into the fifth and final day of competition.

Monroig holds a commanding chip stack of 73,900,000, ensuring that he will at least double his career lifetime earnings regardless of his final position. He is now competing for his first bracelet and the $1,250,000 first-place prize.

The final table features minimal past bracelet experience, as fifth-placed Bradley Gafford is the only finalist with a previous victory. Gafford earned his bracelet in the $1,000 Mini Main Event during the 2023 WSOP.

Only 34 players remain in contention for the $555,198 first-place prize in Event #62: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em. Scotland's Robbie Bull concluded the penultimate day of play in third place overall, bagging a stack of 4,755,000 chips.

Bull currently holds over $1.3 million in live tournament scores. His largest single payout to date came in 2013, when he earned £113,405 ($183,875) for winning the PokerStars UKIPT London Main Event.

That tournament remains his only six-figure score, a statistic he is guaranteed to surpass if he secures a sixth-place finish or higher in this event.

Event #64: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha completed its opening day with Finnish poker star Juha Helppi capturing the chip lead with 936,000. Day 1 attracted 140 entrants, with 60 players successfully navigating the flight to advance.

Both the field size and survivor count are expected to grow, as late registration remains open until the conclusion of Level 12 on Day 2, which takes place at approximately 2:15 p.m. local time.

Event #65: $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em drew a total of 2,617 entrants by the time registration closed, with each player permitted only a single bullet.

The tournament saw an elimination rate of nearly 85 percent across 15 levels of play, leaving just 410 players with chips at the end of the night.
