First 30 WPT Global Qualifiers Get a $100K World Championship Bonus Shot
- The first 30 WPT Global qualifiers earn a Golden Ticket for a $100,000 bonus if they win the 2026 WPT World Championship Main Event.
- Qualifier packages ($12,400 value) include Main Event entry, travel, and perks, with satellites starting at $1.10.
- Qualifiers must play on Day 1A, December 13, at Wynn Las Vegas; qualification runs through November 29.
The age old tale usually goes something like this: winning a satellite gets a player into the tournament. This year, WPT Global attached another condition to its first wave of its World Championship qualifiers: win the Main Event as well and another $100,000 follows.
During the qualification period, the online poker room is putting a $100,000 Golden Ticket up for grabs for the first 30 players who qualify for December’s WPT World Championship through WPT Global.
Those packages are currently available through Sunday satellite finals, with feeder buy-ins starting at just $1.10.
Here is the need-to-know.
What the $100K Golden Ticket Actually Does
Its actual name is a little misleading. To the untrained poker eye, it makes the promotion sound like qualifiers immediately receive another six-figure prize. They don't.
The first 30 WPT Global qualifiers receive a Golden Ticket that becomes worth $100,000 only if that player wins the 2026 WPT World Championship. In that case, WPT Global adds $100,000 to the champion’s Main Event winnings.
A Qualifying Package Worth $12,400
Every package winner receives a $10,400 WPT World Championship seat plus $2,000 towards travel. Apart from the Main Event and travel allowence, there's also a few more perks.
We've broken down the entire package below:
| Package Item | Value |
|---|---|
| WPT World Championship Main Event Entry | $10,400 |
| Travel | $2,000 |
| WPT Global Merchandise | Included |
| Wynn Player Rate | Included |
| Player Lounge Access | Included |
| Express Registration | Included |
Satellites Start at $1.10
Thus far, we've explained the Golden Ticket and the Main Event package. It seems only fair to leave a little room to expain the actual qualification paths running at WPT Global.
Reaching that $12,400 package can begin at several price points. For its 2026 qualifications, WPT Global has built three feeders into its Sunday $1,060 finals:
| Starting Point | Qualification Route |
|---|---|
| $1.10 | $1.10 → $11 → $110 → $1,060 |
| $5 | $5 → $55 → $1,060 |
| $22 | $22 → $220 → $1,060 |
The $1,060 final runs each Sunday through November 29, meaning you have another six weeks of qualifying opportunities from the current point in October.
While there are three levels available, there's no (un)written rule that you have to enter the lowest level first. You can begin your Wynn journey at whichever level suits you.
Qualifiers Have a Fixed Main Event Start
The WPT World Championship Main Event runs from December 13-20 at Wynn Las Vegas.
Those of you who manage to qualify through WPT Global must use their first package on Day 1A, December 13. If you happen to win more than one package, the later entries can be used on subsequent opening days.
That leaves the next several weeks as the online route into the event, with both the $12,400 package and, for the earliest qualifiers, the potential $100,000 champion bonus attached.
