WPT Global Sets Weekly Package Qualifiers for Seoul

Three more WPT Seoul packages will be decided every Sunday between now and late October.

WPT Global has opened its online satellite route for the upcoming South Korean stop, with weekly $88 qualifiers guaranteeing three $1,500 packages apiece. A feeder system starting at $1.10 provides a lower-cost route into those Sunday tournaments before the live festival opens at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort on October 30.

Sunday Qualifiers Sit at the Top of the Ladder

The $88 tournament is the final online stage.

Before that, the qualification route starts with a $1.10 Step, which feeds into an $8.80 satellite. Successful entries at that level move on to the weekly $88 qualifier.

In short, the path looks like this:

$1.10 Step → $8.80 Satellite → $88 Qualifier → $1,500 WPT Seoul package

The $88 qualifiers are scheduled every Sunday at 12:05 UTC through October 25 and come with three packages guaranteed each week.

Each package covers a Day 1A Championship entry on November 5 and includes $250 for expenses. VIP Ultra Lounge access, the WPT Seoul player party and event merchandise are also part of the package.

For the first 30 winners, there is an extra accommodation benefit: four complimentary nights at Brown Dot Hotel Eurwangri. The stay runs from November 4–8 and can accommodate two guests.

WPT Seoul Makes Its INSPIRE Debut

The qualifiers lead into the first WPT Seoul festival staged at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort.

Play runs from October 30 through November 9, with more than 45 tournaments expected across the festival schedule. The venue’s new poker space includes the 70-table YY Poker Club as part of a wider entertainment development at the resort.

The biggest target is the WPT Seoul Inspire Championship. It begins November 5 with a KRW 1,750,000 buy-in and KRW 1 billion guaranteed before reaching its final table on November 9.
