For solver nerds who chase the perfect GTO play, sophisticated RTA tools might be too tempting, especially if they become undetectable.

TrenirusGTO Promotes RTA Cheats Live on ACR Poker

The current uproar was ignited when the official TrenirusGTO account was promoting its solver software's capabilities on X, clearly showing real-time assistance in the middle of a hand on ACR Poker.

The community was quick to notice and was fast to demand that ACR Poker ban the cheater. Winning Poker Network CEO Phil Nagy answered the uproar and was quick to ban the cheater and return money to everyone affected.

The burner account in question, UGLYRETD, managed to play a little over 100 hands and during that time lost -$13.12. So, okay, not the best advertisement for your “2 billion node GTO solver”. The real issue here is: are RTAs getting noticed by operators?

How Many RTA Cheaters Are Out There?

As the latest ACR RTA cheat got exposed and caused an exploding internet uproar, one of the most known cheat busters, Patrick Leonard, warned that TrenirusGTO was only the tip of the iceberg of the underground RTA cheat empire.

What Are the Options?

It seems like a cat-and-mouse loop where the vermin keep appearing even when the cats always get some. Not sure if mandatory face scans and real-time detection tools that record the immediate environment of the player are the answer…That feels like normalizing 1984. Yet, there are operators who are trying to “keep it real” or like in Raize Poker’s case, make it more real with their “real players, real dealers” online poker concept.
