  • Phenom Poker expands to 70 daily tournaments, 49 are non-Hold'em.
  • New formats like H.E.R.O.S. & multi-game mixes join the schedule.
  • Sunday tournaments feature bigger guarantees and more variety.
Phenom Poker has expanded its online tournament schedule from 50 to 70 daily events, with mixed games, Omaha and progressive knockouts playing a central role in the revamped lineup.

The new schedule offers more than 15,000 CHIP in guaranteed prize pools each day, with buy-ins ranging from 1 CHIP to 100 CHIP. While No-Limit Hold'em remains well represented, the biggest change is the amount of action available away from poker's most popular format.

Of the 70 tournaments scheduled every day, 49 are non-Hold'em events. That includes 22 mixed-game tournaments, 15 from the Omaha family and another 12 covering stud and draw formats.

For players interested in less commonly spread poker variants, that makes Phenom's tournament lobby considerably broader than before.

Phenom Puts Mixed Games at the Heart of New Schedule

The expansion introduces eight formats as permanent daily tournaments for the first time: H.E.R.O.S., Stud 8 or Better, PLO 8 or Better, A-5 Triple Draw, Badacey, 10-Game Mix, 9-Game Mix and NLH Hyper Turbo.

It means games that are often restricted to special series or occasional online tournaments can now be found on a daily basis.

The Omaha offering is particularly extensive, with PLO, PLO5, PLO6, Big O and other variants appearing across the schedule. Players less familiar with the format can also explore our Omaha poker guide before moving beyond Hold'em.

Phenom has structured tournament starts relatively closely together, with events generally beginning around 20 minutes apart and no more than 30 minutes separating scheduled starts.

Selected Daily Phenom Poker Tournaments

Tournament Buy-in Start GMT
Triple Draw Mix 100 CHIP 00:30
8-Game Mix 100 CHIP 20:45
9-Game Mix 100 CHIP 23:30
Big O PKO 50 CHIP 00:00

The same events are scheduled at consistent times each day, making it easier for regular players to build a tournament routine around their preferred formats.

26 Progressive Knockouts Run Every Day

Progressive knockout tournaments also receive significantly more space in the new lineup.

Phenom now runs 26 PKOs per day across Hold'em, PLO, PLO5, PLO6, Big O, Fun Mix and 2-7 Single Draw.

Ten of those tournaments have a buy-in of just 1 CHIP. Other events move through 5, 10 and 25 CHIP price points before reaching the higher end of the daily schedule.

The variety means PKOs are no longer limited primarily to Hold'em, with bounty formats now appearing across several specialist games.

Bigger Guarantees Arrive on Sundays

The expanded daily schedule runs alongside Phenom Poker's weekly tournaments, where players can find larger guarantees.

Sunday's headline NLH tournament has a 250 buy-in and 7,500 guarantee. Mixed-game players have several alternatives, including a 222 buy-in 2-7 Triple Draw with 4,000 guaranteed and The Sunday Mixer, a nine-game rotation carrying a 200 buy-in and 4,000 guarantee.

Phenom Poker Sunday Highlights

Tournament Buy-in Guarantee Start GMT
PLO5 6-Max 150 3,000 17:15
Big O 6-Max 100 3,000 17:45
NLH 250 7,500 18:15
2-7 Triple Draw 222 4,000 18:45
The Sunday Mixer 9-Game 200 4,000 20:15

Satellites are also scheduled for several of the larger weekly tournaments.

Phenom Builds Its Identity Around Game Variety

For a developing online poker platform, simply adding more Hold'em tournaments would have been the obvious route to expanding its MTT schedule. Phenom has instead used much of the additional capacity to strengthen its mixed-game offering.

That strategy fits with the platform's wider focus on alternative poker variants and the mixed-game players represented by Team Phenom.

Moving from 50 to 70 tournaments per day is a sizeable increase, but the 49 non-Hold'em events are arguably the more interesting number. Players looking for Stud, Triple Draw, Badacey, Big O or multi-game rotations now have considerably more daily options.
