Abreu Recovers From 10:1 Deficit to Defeat Tim Kramer

Kramer began heads-up play holding 12.45 million chips against Abreu's 10.68 million. The Portuguese player briefly moved ahead, but Kramer regained control and eventually extended his advantage to approximately 10:1.

Despite facing a substantial deficit, Abreu recovered through a decisive confrontation that reversed the chip counts, leaving him with approximately 16 million against Kramer's six million.

The momentum shifted entirely in Abreu's favour, and the tournament concluded shortly afterwards when Kramer made the final call against the Portuguese player's winning straight.

Abreu collected $429,493 for the victory, while Kramer earned $331,184 for second place, a difference of $98,309 between the two finishing positions.

Abreu's first GGPoker GGMillion$ appearance ended with a title and the largest payout of the October 6 final table.

His comeback from a 10:1 heads-up disadvantage overturned Kramer's commanding lead and secured the Portuguese player his maiden victory in the $10,000 tournament.
