Manuel Ferrari leads the final six into Day 7 of the 2026 EPT Barcelona €5,300 Main Event. Ferrari seeks another PokerStars title, while Spain’s Jose Criado aims to become the first Spaniard to win the EPT Barcelona Main Event overall.

Manuel Ferrari is leading the final six players into Day 7 of the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €5,300 Main Event, with the tournament title, Golden Shard Main Event trophy and the largest share of the €8,841,550 prize pool now within reach.

The penultimate day concluded after nearly four levels of play, reducing the returning field of 13 to six contenders. The eventual champion will take home €1,370,050, setting up a final day with the biggest prize still to be decided.

Ferrari enters the final day at the top of the counts after going wire-to-wire on Day 6. The Italian began the day as the chip leader and retained that position through the end of play.

Ferrari already owns two PokerStars trophies. His previous victories came in the PokerStars Open Malaga 2025 Main Event and the PokerStars Open Campione High Roller earlier this year.

With six players remaining, Ferrari now has the opportunity to add an EPT Barcelona Main Event title to his list of PokerStars tournament victories.

Close behind Ferrari is hometown favorite Jose Criado, who will carry Spain's hopes into the final day.

Criado is chasing a place in EPT Barcelona history as he looks to become the first Spaniard to win the EPT Barcelona Main Event.

His presence gives the six-player final table another significant storyline, with Criado competing for both the title and the opportunity to achieve that milestone.

The tournament began its penultimate day with 13 players still in contention. After nearly four levels, that group was reduced to six.

Those remaining players will return to Casino Barcelona for Day 7, where the EPT Barcelona Main Event title and Golden Shard Main Event trophy will be decided.

The €1,370,050 first-place prize also remains available, representing the largest portion of the €8,841,550 prize pool.
