Daniel Negreanu will make his Hustler Casino Live debut on August 28 in a $100/$200 cash game with a $50,000 minimum buy-in. HCL confirmed the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner, while the remaining lineup will be announced in due course soon.

Daniel Negreanu will make his long-anticipated debut on Hustler Casino Live on Friday, August 28, joining the livestream for a $100/$200 cash game.

Hustler Casino Live announced the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner as part of next Friday's lineup in a post on X, describing Negreanu as a poker legend and GGPoker ambassador who is finally coming to HCL.

The announcement also featured an AI-generated video in which HCL regulars celebrated the news with a soul-funk melody centered on the Canadian's "Big D Energy coming to HCL."

Negreanu shared the video on his own X account, calling it "sooooo ridiculous" and saying that he had to share it.

While the complete lineup has not yet been announced, HCL has confirmed that the game will run at $100/$200 stakes with a $50,000 minimum buy-in.

The remaining players are expected to be revealed in due course, leaving Negreanu as the first confirmed name for the August 28 game.

The appearance marks a return to televised cash-game action for Negreanu, who was once among the most recognizable and popular regulars on High Stakes Poker. It has been a long time since he regularly ventured into cash-game streets.

In recent years, Negreanu has primarily been a tournament player. He rarely strays far from Las Vegas when competing on the WSOP and PGT circuits.

The main exception is poker's annual Christmas-time pilgrimage to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.
His upcoming Hustler Casino Live appearance therefore represents a return to televised cash games after an extended period away from that format.

GGPoker Connection Behind HCL Appearance

Negreanu's return to televised cash games also comes after he signed with GGPoker as its most high-profile ambassador.

GGPoker co-owns Hustler Casino Live, providing a direct connection between Negreanu's ambassador role and the LA-based livestream.

That relationship has helped Hustler Casino Live bring the eight-time bracelet winner back to televised cash games for the August 28 $100/$200 session.

With Negreanu confirmed and the remaining players still to be announced, the full lineup for the Hustler Casino Live game has yet to be revealed.
