Ocean Rewards will launch on January 30, 2026, marking a major change to the loyalty system on GGPoker. The new program replaces Fish Buffet and applies to all eligible players across the platform.

Ocean Rewards introduces a revised cashback structure that offers up to 80 percent cashback.

The cashback rate applies across every tier, removing reduced returns at lower levels. Once a tier is achieved, the status remains fixed for a full year.

How Ocean Rewards Works

Players earn rewards through a combination of Tide Points and Gems. Tide Points are earned through rake and are credited at a rate of 100 points for every one dollar generated. These points contribute directly to tier progression within Ocean Rewards.

Gems are earned alongside Tide Points and increase in value as players move up tiers. Higher tiers apply a multiplier to Gems, allowing players to exchange them for greater reward value.

Guaranteed Tier Status for One Year

Ocean Rewards guarantees tier status for 12 months. Once a player reaches a tier, there is no need to requalify during that period. This structure allows players to plan volume without the risk of losing status mid cycle. Tier protection applies across all levels of the Ocean Rewards system.

Automatic Tier Upgrade for Existing Players

All players will receive a free tier upgrade when Ocean Rewards launches. No opt in is required to receive this promotion.

Players currently in the Fish Buffet Platinum Octopus tier will move directly into the Octopus tier under Ocean Rewards. The transition will take place automatically on January 30, 2026, with no disruption to account access.

Ocean Rewards Replaces Fish Buffet

Fish Buffet will be retired with the launch of Ocean Rewards. The new system introduces a unified structure that combines rake based points with tier based multipliers.

Ocean Rewards on GGPoker applies consistent cashback rules and a fixed annual tier model. The program is designed to support long term engagement across cash games and tournaments.
