Asian Poker Tour Announces Biggest APT Championship With $5 Million GTD
- APT Championship 2025 announced with $5M prize pool.

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) will be hosting its biggest APT Championship (APTC) till date from November 14 to 30, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan with a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.
The much awaited announcement from Asian Poker Tour (APT) is finally here. The live poker brand sponsored by Natural8 is hosting its largest APT Championship with a prize pool of $5 million (TWD 165 million).
The championship event will have Red Point Business Center as its venue and is organised in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP). This poker event marks the longest event in APT history, spanning 17 days.
The Main Event of the championship will have a buy-in of TWD 350,000, equivalent to around $10,700. This event has adopted a freeze-out format, allowing players only one entry to compete for the title.
In addition to the marquee Main Event, players participating in APT festivals throughout 2025 will have multiple opportunities to qualify for the APTC Main Event.
Winners of the tour's three signature events—the APT Main Event, the APT Super High Roller, and the APT High Roller—from each festival will earn a seat in the Main Event.
The first opportunity to qualify for the APTC will occur at the upcoming APT Manila Classic 2025, which is scheduled from February 7 to 16 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. This live event will be conducted in partnership with Metro Card Club.
