ACR Poker’s $12M Venom Tournaments Kick Off On April 13
The upcoming Venom tournaments at ACR Poker are set to begin on April 13. These Venom tournaments collectively offer a prize pool of $12 million.
The popular Venom tournaments are back on ACR Poker. These multi-flight events together offer $12 million in prize pool. The No Limit Hold’em event comes with a $10 million guarantee while the Pot Limit Omaha promises $2 million in guaranteed prize pool.
The NLH tournament is expected to attract a large number of entries, thanks to its $10 million guarantee. The first-place finisher could score $1 million in prize money.
The PLO event comes with a $2 million guarantee, and the winner is expected to grab around $400,000 in prize money.
Satellites and Freerolls
The direct buy-in for each tournament is $2,650, but players have multiple satellite options to secure a seat at a much lower cost.
ACR Poker has put over 1,000 guaranteed seats for the NLH event, including the below:
- 445 seats via daily direct satellites with buy-ins starting at $33
- 372 seats available via weekend mega satellites that come with entry fees of $55, $109, $290, and $630.
- 120 seats awarded via Beast satellites between March 30 and April 20
- 20 seats reserved for Venom Madness satellite winners
The PLO tournament also offers satellite pathways, with 48 seats available via daily satellites and at least 30 seats in each of three mega satellites scheduled for Sundays from April 13 onwards.

Freerolls are also listed which offer entry to super satellites. These create a pathway to tickets to bigger satellite events as follows:
- $5.50 tickets leading to $55 mega satellites
- $11 tickets leading to $109 mega satellites
- $33 tickets leading to $290 mega satellites
- $66 tickets leading to $630 mega satellites
Venom Tournament Structure
Both the NLH and PLO tournaments will feature five starting flights, all scheduled for 1:05 PM ET on the following days:
- Sunday, April 13
- Thursday, April 17
- Sunday, April 20
- Thursday, April 24
- Sunday, April 27
Players who survive will compete on Day 2, scheduled for Monday, April 28. The PLO event is expected to conclude that day, while the NLH tournament will continue to Day 3 on April 29, with the final table set for April 30.
Previous Venom Event
The NLH Venom event held last spring had a record-breaking 5,045 entries. German poker pro and WSOP bracelet champ Dominik Nitsche grabbed the top spot for a score of $1.8 million.
In that same event, all three top finishers secured seven-figure payouts, and ACR Poker representative Chris Moneymaker finished in 6th place, taking home $382,000.
