WSOP Reveals Official Numbers For The Super Main Event

World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise shared official numbers from the $50 million Super Main Event.

WSOP revealed the official numbers from the Super Main Event after late registration closed. Talking about the total number of entries, the tournament had 1978 runners (1,378 live & 600 online).

The record-setting event paid the top 297 places (207 live, 90 online) with the minimum cash being $50,000. The first place finisher gets a pay cheque of $6,000,000 while the final prize pool settled at $49,450,000.

The tournament did not surpass its advertised guarantee but remains to be a record breaking event in poker history with its initial prize pool.

The WSOP Paradise 2024 event runs till 19 December at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. The event saw Alex Foxen and Stephen Chidwick adding to their respective bracelet tally.

Day 2 of the Super Main Event concluded with Gytis Lazauninkas as the chip lead. 17-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth busted on the stone bubble.

GGPoker ambassadors Daniel Negreanu and Alexandra Botez made Day 3 while Fedor Holz busted the tournament.

Top 10 stacks walking into Day 3 consist of names like Juan Pardo, Liv Boeree, David Peters, Chris Brewer and WSOP 2024 High Roller champ Chris Hunichen.
