If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to take your game to the Texas Card House, the end of April is officially "Go Time." The first-ever WSOP Circuit stop in Texas (April 23 – May 4) isn't just a standard Hold'em festival; it’s a high-stakes playground that reflects the unique, aggressive flavor of Texas poker.

With 18 ring events on the docket, players will need to navigate a diverse landscape of formats, including Double Board Bomb Pots, 2-7 Single Draw, and Big O, all while keeping their eyes on the prize: an official WSOP gold ring.

Beyond the NLH Grinders

While most of the attention will inevitably fall on the $1M guaranteed Main Event, the schedule offers plenty of room for specialists to shine. On April 27, mixed-game players can tackle the $600 8-Game Mix, followed by a $600 H.O.R.S.E. event the next day.

For those who enjoy the "Texas" side of poker, May 3 features the $400 Double Board Bomb Pot, a format born in the card rooms of the South that has finally achieved WSOP recognition.

Structuring Your Series

The series is built for volume, starting with the $500,000 Mini Main and the Monster Stack, both of which offer multi-flight opportunities to build a deep stack. For the high-volume pros, the $1,100 Blazing Trail and the $3,250 Big Tex High Roller provide the prestige necessary to make the trip worthwhile.

As the first stop of its kind in the state, expect the fields to be as large as the prize pools, with local legends and international travelers clashing for a piece of the historic $1,000,000 Main Event pie.
