Players can make up to 98 re-entries, with each re-entry also costing $0.50. Players begin the Step 1 satellite with 5,000 chips.

Blind levels increase every five minutes, while the tournament listing allows a maximum field of 10,000 players.

Late registration remains available for one hour after the tournament begins. During the permitted period, players can use up to 98 re-entries. Both the initial tournament entry and each re-entry cost $0.50.

The stated reward for successful players is a $10 Step 2 Ticket to the Stake Showdown. The Step 1 event therefore serves as the opening qualification stage, with winners progressing through the ticket awarded by the tournament.
