Stake Poker has announced The Stake Showdown, a No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a $1,000 buy-in and $200,000 guarantee. Registration opens October 24.

Stake Poker has announced the next edition of Stake Showdown with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool and a direct buy-in of $1,000.

Players can enter this No-Limit Hold'em event either by paying the 1,000 buy-in directly or by using a Stake Showdown ticket.

Players entering Stake Showdown will receive a starting stack of 20,000 chips. The tournament will use 10-minute blind levels, while scheduled breaks will take place every hour at the 55-minute mark.

Late registration will remain available for two hours, giving players additional time to enter after the tournament begins. The event requires a minimum of six players to run and has a maximum capacity of 10,000 players.

The Stake Showdown will permit up to 98 re-entries for each player. Each re-entry will cost $1,000, matching the initial tournament buy-in. The regular tournament structure will use tables of eight players.

The final table, however, is listed as having nine players.

The Stake Showdown returns on Stake Poker with a $200,000 guarantee, a $1,000 entry point and a structure allowing direct entry or qualification through a tournament ticket. Registration is scheduled to open on October 24 at 5 PM UTC.
