Day 3 of the 2025 EPT Prague €5,300 Main Event opens with 163 players. Completed events include wins by Enrico Camosci, Youness Barakat, Sho Homma, Joachim Haraldstad and Yulian Bogdanov.

The 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague festival has ramped up the intensity, with the flagship €5,300 Main Event successfully navigating the money bubble on Day 2.

From an initial field of 1,224 total entries, only 163 players remain in contention for the lion's share of the staggering €5,936,400 prize pool. The action at the Hilton Hotel Prague now focuses squarely on the top prize of €1,019,300.

Bansal Paces the Remaining Field in Main Event

As Day 3 prepares to get underway, the tournament is fronted by a quartet of formidable chip leaders. India's Paawan Bansal secured the overall chip lead with a commanding stack of 850,000, which translates to a robust 170 big blinds.

Closely challenging him is the United Kingdom's Terry Jordon (845,000) and Canada’s Jeffrey Sarwer (816,000), confirming a globally diverse group at the top. Long-time Dutch professional Tobias Peters also enters the day in prime position with 789,000 chips.

Schemion Continues EPT Mastery

Poker history is being written further down the leaderboard by German superstar Ole Schemion. A highly decorated player with 12 previous EPT trophies, Schemion successfully secured his 98th EPT cash by surviving the bubble on Day 2.

Despite two prior Main Event final tables, his best finish remains fifth place at EPT Prague 2013. Returning with a massive 728,000 chips (146 big blinds), Schemion is exceptionally well-stacked and poised for another deep run, seeking his elusive first Main Event title.
