GTO Wizard released major updates to its PLO solver, adding customizable heads-up solving, nodelocking, and postflop ICM calculations for tournaments. The software also upgraded its study mode, trainer, solving engine speed, and cash and MTT preflop libraries.

Only a couple of months after launching its initial Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) solver, GTO Wizard has rolled out a major suite of functional upgrades.

The development team has introduced several new features designed to expand study options and refine strategic analysis for PLO cash game and tournament players.

Key Upgrades to the PLO Solver Platform

The latest release focuses on actionable solver capabilities, enhanced customizability, and overall platform efficiency.

  • Heads-Up Solving: The platform now provides heads-up PLO strategies that are fully customizable from preflop to the river.

  • Nodelocking Capabilities: Users can model specific opponent mistakes within the game tree to build custom player profiles and develop exploitative counter-strategies.

  • Postflop ICM Calculations: Tournament players can analyze postflop Independent Chip Model (ICM) scenarios with fully configurable prize structures, stack sizes, and bounty formats for both regular and bounty events.

  • Study Interface Enhancements: Study mode now includes improved filtering systems, clear subcategories, a dedicated preflop matrix, and a breakdown tab to simplify complex PLO analysis.

  • Trainer System Upgrades: The interactive trainer has added multi-tabling, custom drilling options, an information panel, and performance-tracking statistics.

  • Engine and Library Expansion: The underlying solving engine now delivers faster, higher-accuracy outputs alongside an expanded library of preflop solutions for cash games and multi-table tournaments (MTTs).

Future Development Roadmap

GTO Wizard continues active development on its PLO offerings. Future features planned for incoming updates include 5-Card PLO solving, ongoing expansion of the preflop library, aggregated reports, and dedicated mobile device support.
