Stake Poker announced the Centurion Warm Up Phase 1 featuring a $100,000 guarantee. The $100 buy-in NL Hold’em event starts in 12 days. Registration opens May 25, utilizing a First Stack Forward Policy and ending when 15 percent of players remain.
Stake Poker has officially announced the upcoming Centurion Warm Up - Phase 1, a No Limit Hold’em event that serves as a high value introduction to its tournament schedule. Scheduled to begin in 12 days, the tournament features a 100,000 guaranteed prize pool for a buy-in of $100.
The Phase 1 event is designed with specific progression rules. Play for this phase will conclude when only 15% of the starting field remains. These surviving players will then advance to the next stage of the competition.
Stake Poker utilizes a First Stack Forward Policy for this event. According to this policy, players who successfully qualify for the final stage are not permitted to enter additional flights.
However, if a player is eliminated before the phase ends, they may attempt to qualify again in subsequent sessions.
Registration for the Centurion Warm Up opens on May 25 at 5 PM GMT. For those unable to join at the start, a late registration period will remain open for two hours.
Key technical details for the tournament include:
- Starting Stack: 20,000 chips
- Table Format: 8 players per table, shifting to 9 players for the final table
- Field Capacity: Minimum of 6 players required, with a maximum capacity of 10,000
- Re-entry: Players are allowed a maximum of 9 re-entries at 100 each
