Artur Martirosian won a record-extending 13th GGMillion$ title on May 5th, 2026, earning $486,816. Commentated by Jeff Gross and Justin Young, the Russian pro defeated Tamas Adamszki heads-up during the GG World Festival after entering the finale as a heavy favourite.

The first weekend of the GG World Festival reached a significant milestone during the Season 2026 Episode 17 finale of the GGMillion$.

Featuring the largest tournament guarantee of the festival opening, the GGPoker event concluded with Russian poker professional Artur Martirosian extending his existing record by capturing a 13th title in the format. Martirosian earned a first-place prize of $486,816 for his victory.

The virtual broadcast booth featured regular host Jeff Gross alongside guest commentator Justin Young.

Young, a co-host of the Table 1 Podcast and a seasoned high-stakes player with more than $6.8 million in live tournament earnings, provided technical analysis as the final nine players competed for the championship.

Final Table Action and Key Hands

The GGPoker tournament concluded with a competitive heads-up battle between Martirosian and Hungarian player Tamas Adamszki. Although Martirosian held the advantage for much of the duel, Adamszki found a critical opportunity to double his stack.

In a raised pot, Adamszki flopped a flush holding the seven-six of diamonds. Simultaneously, Martirosian flopped a set of fours.

A three on the turn led Martirosian to move all-in. Adamszki called and successfully avoided nine outs on the river to increase his stack to 12.3 million chips, trailing Martirosian’s 15.2 million.

However, Martirosian reclaimed momentum and expanded his lead to a 2:1 ratio. In the final hand, Adamszki moved all-in for over 16 big blinds holding ace-six. Martirosian made the call with pocket sixes.

The board ran out without an ace or favorable running cards for the Hungarian, confirming Martirosian as the champion. Adamszki received $375,386 for his runner-up finish.

Analysis and Commentary

During the broadcast, Jeff Gross noted that Martirosian performed as a wire-to-wire leader and entered the final as a significant statistical favourite. Gross highlighted that the winner held odds of 2.54, which he described as potentially the lowest odds ever recorded for a player in this field.

Justin Young expressed his appreciation for the level of play observed during the final table. He noted that it was a joy to watch high-class players and reiterated his long-standing passion for the technical aspects of the game.

Martirosian’s 13th victory further solidifies his position as the most successful player in the history of the GGMillion$ format.
