  • APT's 2027 calendar includes four marquee festivals—two each in Jeju and Taipei.
  • Jeju and Taipei were chosen after delivering the largest fields and payouts in 2026.
  • The $10,000 APT Championship remains the season finale; Incheon is not a confirmed stop.
Asia Poker Tour (APT) 2027 Schedule
After a 2026 season that moved back and forth between Jeju, Taipei and Incheon, the Asian Poker Tour tightened the map going into next year.

The first 2027 calendar announcement came on October 8, with four marquee festivals and only two destinations. Jeju gets January and October, Taipei gets April and November, and the $10,000 APT Championship remains the final stop of the season.

Let's break it down.

Four Marquee Stops Confirmed for 2027

Taipei Gets Longer, Jeju Classic Moves Forward

Compared to 2026, the changes are small but they are visible nevertheless.

The Jeju Classic remains a 10-day festival but shifts from the end of January and beginning of February to January 22–31.

For 2027, Taipei gets an extra day. Its 2026 edition ran from April 22 to May 3; next year it begins on April 21 and runs for 13 days.

The autumn Jeju festival is moving in the opposite direction. It was initially announced as a 10-day stop for 2026 before APT eventually expanded the schedule through October 7, creating a 13-day festival. The currently announced 2027 dates run October 1–10.

Then there is Incheon. APT Incheon ran for 10 days at Paradise City this August, but there has been no word of it among the four stops currently announced for 2027.

The end-of-year APT Championship in Taipei remains the most stable part of the calendar, shifting just one day earlier while retaining its 17-day format and $10,000 Main Event freezeout.

2026 Left Numbers to Beat

APT has not shied away from using the word “record” this year, and there has usually been an impressive number behind it.

The first Jeju Classic drew 1,718 Main Event entries, passing the previous South Korean benchmark and building a KRW 3.414 billion prize pool from a KRW 2.2 billion guarantee.

Taipei then delivered APT’s largest regular festival to date. Across 12 days, 3,890 unique players generated 26,009 entries, with more than $19.1 million paid out across the program. Its Main Event brought in 2,354 entries and TWD 111.86 million, around $3.59 million, in prize money.

Incheon kept the 2026 run going. Its Main Event increased to 1,393 entries and more than doubled its KRW 1.5 billion guarantee, while the whole festival paid roughly $11.4 million.

September’s Jeju stop then finished with 10,667 entries and KRW 19.4 billion in prize money, becoming APT’s largest Korean festival by the total money awarded.

With the 2026 APT Championship still to come, this newly released schedule has some serious work to do and numbers to beat.
