PokerStars celebrates its 25th anniversary with a $50 million guaranteed series from May 10 to June 3, 2026. Featuring 461 tournaments and three-tier buy-ins from $5.50 to $15,000, the festival includes physical trophies and a revamped $530 Power Path promotion.

PokerStars is officially marking its 25th anniversary this May with a dedicated online tournament series. The celebration features a massive $50 million in total guarantees across a schedule that spans from May 10 to June 3, 2026.

This series follows the established structure of prestigious festivals like the Spring Championship of Online Poker and the World Championship of Online Poker, offering a diverse range of game types and buy-in levels.

Comprehensive Schedule and Tournament Formats

The Anniversary Series consists of 156 events, totaling 461 individual tournaments. To ensure accessibility for the entire player base, most events utilize a three-tier buy-in system. Entry fees start at $5.50 and reach as high as $15,000 for high stakes competitors.

Beyond the prize pools, winners of tournaments and leaderboard champions will receive physical trophies. However, PokerStars has noted that players located in Belarus, Ukraine, Sweden, or Austria are not eligible to receive these trophies.

Power Path Promotion

In conjunction with the festivities, PokerStars is updating its Power Path promotion. A new $530 Bronze Pass is being introduced for the summer, replacing the former $109 version.

This new pass includes 25 percent added value and can be redeemed as an online ticket bundle specifically for the Anniversary Series. All unredeemed $109 Bronze Passes currently held by players will be renamed to a Spade Power Pass within the game client.

Key Events and Main Event Highlights

The series kicks off on May 10 with several high profile tournaments. The opening Sunday includes a $22 Mystery Sunday Special with a $300,000 guarantee, a $109 Sunday Million PKO featuring a $1 million guarantee, and a $1,050 Sunday High Roller with $300,000 guaranteed.

The momentum continues on May 17 with a $215 Sunday Million PKO that carries a $1 million guarantee. On May 31, the schedule provides a Main Event 2nd Chance at three price points: $55, $215, and $1,050, with combined guarantees totaling $1.65 million.
The centerpiece of the series takes place on May 24. The Main Events are split into three distinct tiers:
  • Low: $109 buy-in with a $1.5 million guarantee
  • Medium: $1,050 buy-in with a $2.5 million guarantee
  • High: $5,200 buy-in with a $2 million guarantee

With $50 million in total prizes and a wide variety of mixed games and formats, the PokerStars Anniversary Series stands as a significant milestone in the operator's 25 year history.
