Celebrating 25 years, ACR Poker has launched a comprehensive integrity initiative. The update features solver-backed RTA detection, the "Reshuffle" PLO format to combat collusion, and mandatory 2FA on withdrawals.

As ACR Poker celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, the network is not just looking back at its history but is leaning heavily into the future of online security.

The platform has unveiled a multi-layered game-integrity initiative designed to combat modern threats like real-time assistance (RTA), sophisticated automation, and collusion.

Enhancing RTA Detection with Fair Play Checks

A cornerstone of this update is the integration of Fair Play Check data. By collaborating with a major training-solver ecosystem, ACR Poker can now identify potential RTA usage with greater precision.

Rather than relying solely on long-term statistical anomalies, security teams can now cross-reference specific board spots with solver activity in real time.

This creates a direct evidence trail, connecting suspicious behavior to specific decision points and allowing for faster, more accurate security reviews.

"Reshuffle" Format Targets PLO Collusion

Collusion remains one of the most difficult threats to detect in online poker. To address this, ACR has rolled out the Reshuffle feature for PLO4 and PLO5 games. These tables, clearly marked in the lobby, implement two key changes:
  • Card Mechanics: Folded cards are returned to the deck instead of remaining "dead."
  • Dealing Pace: Hole cards are dealt one at a time to disrupt automated data scraping.

This format-level friction reduces the informational advantage that colluders gain from sharing folded-card information, making it significantly harder to maintain an unfair edge.
Strengthening Account Security and Withdrawals

The point of maximum risk for any player is the withdrawal process. ACR Poker has addressed this by making two-factor authentication (2FA) mandatory for all payouts. Players must now provide a verified email code for every withdrawal.

Additionally, the network has tightened protocols for updating sensitive account details, such as phone numbers and email addresses. These strict controls ensure that even if login credentials are compromised, player funds remain protected behind a hard verification step.

Layered Countermeasures Against Automation

To stay ahead of evolving bot technology, ACR employs a diverse toolkit of anti-automation measures:
  • Disrupting Pixel Bots: Frequent updates to client graphics.
  • Access Restrictions: Blocking virtual machines and remote-access tools.
  • Active Verification: Implementing in-game CAPTCHAs.
  • AI Monitoring: Proprietary AI-driven alerting systems that flag abnormal play patterns for human investigation.

What This Means for the 2026 Poker Landscape

In a landscape shifting toward tool-assisted play and coordinated soft cheating, ACR’s proactive stance is a welcome development for the community. By hitting multiple attack surfaces simultaneously, the network is moving toward a more transparent and secure ecosystem for all players.
