WSOP Circuit Returns to Latin America with Panama Stop

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit is set to return to Latin America in 2025, with Panama confirmed as the next destination on the tour. 

The stop will be hosted at the Hilton Panama Hotel and StarBay Casino from November 6 to 16, featuring a comprehensive tournament schedule and online qualification opportunities through GGPoker.

The WSOP Circuit Panama will feature 12 official WSOP gold ring events, alongside a schedule of side tournaments, VIP activities, and international media coverage. The venue’s seaside location offers a central setting for both regional and international participants.

According to Gregory Chochon, Chief Operating Officer of the World Series of Poker, Latin America’s expanding poker market makes the region a strong candidate for major events. He noted that WSOP-C Panama aligns with the brand’s mission of offering the WSOP gold ring experience to players worldwide.

GGPoker will host a 12‑week online satellite series, providing players across Latin America with the chance to secure a seat in the WSOP Circuit Panama Main Event. 

The series will award 20 guaranteed prize packages, each valued at $2,500. Packages include a $1,700 Main Event entry and $800 in travel expenses.
