WSOP 2025
Two poker players earned the coveted WSOP 2025 Main Event seats via freeroll tournaments co-hosted by GGPoker and Reddit’s r/poker community. Remi Alamian Darunkola and Terrance Lee will grind in the Main Event in Las Vegas.

In a notable collaboration, GGPoker and Reddit’s prominent poker subreddit, r/poker, have awarded two poker enthusiasts entries into the $10,000 WSOP 2025 Main Event.

This promotion, branded as 'r/poker Goes To Vegas,' offered members of r/poker an accessible pathway to one of poker’s most esteemed tournaments through a series of freeroll and freebuy events.

Winners Secure WSOP Main Event Seats

Remi Alamian Darunkola from Germany scored a Main Event seat. These events allowed free participation with optional $2 rebuys.

Darunkola emerged victorious after qualifying in the top 50 from each heat, ultimately winning the decisive final to secure his WSOP Main Event seat.

In a parallel structure hosted on ClubGG, Canadian player Terrance Lee won his seat through participation in a series of fully free-entry tournaments. His journey culminated in a 50-player final showdown, where Lee’s consistent performance secured his entry to the prestigious event.

Live Event Updates and Community Engagement

GGPoker will provide full media coverage of both winners throughout their WSOP journeys. The extensive documentation will offer behind-the-scenes access, live updates, and trip reports to the r/poker community of over 300,000 subscribers, enhancing the experience for fans and participants alike.

Expanding Future Collaboration

Encouraged by the success of this initial partnership, GGPoker plans further collaborative efforts with r/poker. Proposed activities include additional unique tournament formats, community-exclusive live poker events, and increased opportunities for amateur players.

A GGPoker representative commented, “The partnership with r/poker aligns perfectly with our vision to engage passionate poker enthusiasts. We anticipate this initiative marking the start of more collaborative efforts.”
Updates and further coverage can be accessed via GGPoker’s official channels and the r/poker subreddit.
