WSOP 2025 concluded with record participation and payouts, including 246,960 total entries and $481.7 million in prize pools.
The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) ended on July 16 after eight weeks of tournaments at Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas, setting new all-time records in participation, prize pools, and payouts.
Ty Stewart, WSOP Chief Executive Officer, stated, “The poker renaissance was on full display at the 2025 WSOP. If you missed the amazing action, the good news is that you can inevitably expect bigger and better next year.”

The introduction of the WSOP+ app played a significant role in enhancing the player experience by reducing registration delays. The summer attracted notable professional players, rising talents, and celebrities, all competing for WSOP bracelets.
WSOP 2025 Highlights and Records
- Total Entries: 246,960 – the highest in WSOP history
- Total Prize Money: $481,761,879 – record-breaking total series prize pool
- Total Payouts: 37,311 – largest number of unique payouts
- Million-Dollar Prizes: 43 awarded during the series
Event-specific milestones
- Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold’em (Event #53): 11,996 entries, largest $1,500 buy-in field
- Mid-Stakes Championship NLH (Event #89): 3,797 entries, largest $3,000 buy-in field
- Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha (Event #86): 5,284 entries, largest PLO field
The series also recorded 57 events surpassing $2 million prize pools and 9 events exceeding $10 million, both historical highs.
Upcoming WSOP Events
Following the summer series, the WSOP Circuit (WSOP-C) 2025 Season Part 2 has commenced. WSOP Paradise returns in the Bahamas from December 4 to 18, and WSOP Europe runs from September 12 to October 8, with the Main Event starting October 3.
