Triton’s $200K Invitational will make its Asian debut in Jeju from September 12-14, with 18 pairs confirmed. Phil Ivey, Bryn Kenney and Ethan Yau headline the field, while Triton targets more than 50 pairs and a potential record-setting tournament.

Triton Poker is set to bring its flagship $200K Triton Invitational to Asia for the first time when the Super High Roller Series Jeju II takes place in South Korea this September.

The Invitational will run from September 12-14 and will be one of the marquee events at Triton’s biggest stop of the year. The wider series will return to the Les A Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World from September 4-17 for its second visit to the venue in 2026.

The tournament will feature Triton’s distinctive format, pairing recreational invitees with elite professional players. The two groups will compete separately on Day 1 before combining on Day 2 to play down to a champion.

Triton Invitational Targets Record Field in Jeju

Triton has already confirmed 18 pairs for the Jeju Invitational, with additional pairings expected to be announced in the coming weeks through the tour’s social channels.

Organizers believe the tournament could become the biggest Invitational in Triton history. The current record stands at 137 runners, set during the Montenegro stop in May 2026.

Adrian Mateos won that tournament, taking home the trophy and $6,370,000. The Jeju event could challenge that mark as Triton looks to capitalize on the strength of the Asian poker scene.

All 12 of Triton’s biggest tournaments by field size have taken place in Jeju, adding further significance to the upcoming stop.

Triton is also hoping the Invitational can attract more than 50 pairs for the first time since the tournament’s inaugural edition in 2019.

Despite its $200,000 buy-in, the Triton Invitational has not been exclusively dominated by elite professionals.

Four of the tournament’s previous 10 editions have been won by recreational invitees. Aaron Zang, Ramin Hajiyev, Aleksa Pavicevic and Argentinian rapper Alejando Lococo have all claimed Triton gold in the event.

The results highlight the distinctive competitive dynamic created by the Invitational format, where recreational players and established professionals are paired before eventually competing together in the same field.

Phil Ivey Headlines Confirmed Names

The first 18 pairs feature a significant collection of high-stakes poker talent. Phil Ivey is among the headline names confirmed for Jeju after receiving an invitation from Triton co-founder Paul Phua.

Bryn Kenney, poker’s all-time money leader, will also compete after being paired with Leonardo Drago.
Kenney recently became the first player in poker history to surpass $90 million in live tournament earnings. Another strong result in Jeju could move him closer to the $100 million milestone.

Ethan “Rampage” Yau is another notable addition to the field. Yau enters the tournament after winning the second WSOP bracelet of his career during the summer.

Yau has selected Justin Saliba as his professional partner. Saliba was on Yau’s rail when the vlogger defeated Adrian Mateos in Las Vegas.
The confirmed line-up extends well beyond Ivey, Kenney and Yau. Isaac Haxton, Artur Martirosian, Seth Davies, Ben Heath, Danny Tang and Kayhan Mokri are among the other high-stakes regulars already confirmed for the Jeju Invitational.

Triton is expected to announce additional pairings in the coming weeks, meaning the current list of 36 confirmed players is not yet the final field.

The Super High Roller Series Jeju II will mark an important first for the Triton Invitational, with the $200K tournament making its Asian debut from September 12-14.

The wider Jeju series will run from September 4-17 at Les A Casino at Jeju Shinhwa World, giving Triton a second series at the venue during 2026.

With 18 pairs already confirmed, a record field within reach and several of the biggest names in high-stakes poker committed to the event, the Jeju Invitational is positioned to become one of the central tournaments of Triton’s 2026 calendar.
