Phase 1 of the Stake Poker World KO Championship (WKC) Main Event starts July 9, featuring a $20 buy-in. Operating under the Best Stack Forward Policy, the tournament offers 6-minute levels and allows up to 9 re-entries.

The highly anticipated Phase 1 of the Stake Poker WKC Main Event is scheduled to begin on July 9, offering players a direct path toward a substantial 100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The tournament features an accessible entry point with a direct buy-in of 20. Additionally, ticket entry options are available, providing alternative qualification pathways for participants.

For players looking to build a sizable stack or recover from an early elimination, the tournament permits a maximum of 9 re-entries per player, with each re-entry priced at the standard 20 buy-in amount.

Action gets underway with a starting stack of 20,000 chips. The blind levels are structured to move quickly, featuring a 6-minute blind level duration that rewards decisive play.

To ensure players receive regular intervals of rest, a scheduled break will occur every hour at the 55-minute mark.

Late registration remains open for 1 hour and 30 minutes after the official start time, giving latecomers and re-entry players ample time to join the action.
This Stake Poker event is designed to accommodate a massive field, enforcing a minimum requirement of 7 players to kick off the action and capping the maximum field size at 10,000 players.

The tournament utilizes an 8-handed table format throughout the regular course of play, which later expands to a 9-handed format once the tournament reaches the final table.

A key operational feature of this tournament is the utilization of the Best Stack Forward Policy. Under these guidelines, players are permitted to participate in multiple Phase 1 flights.

However, only the highest qualifying chip stack secured by a player will advance to the Final Phase of the WKC Main Event, while any lesser stacks are discarded.
