PGT PLO Series II: Jeremy Ausmus Takes Down Event #7 For $288,000

American pro Jeremy Ausmus has once again proved why he is among the most solid players in the circuit. Ausmus who tied with Phil Helllmuth for most number of final tables in a World Series of Poker (WSOP) event has nailed Event 7 - $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha at the ongoing PGT PLO Series II.
Ausmus emerged victorious from a player field of 64 entries for a payday of $288,000. This PLO title marks Ausmus’ 25th cash of the PGT season.
The final table of Event 7 saw a fierce heads-up battle between Ausmus and Gruffudd Pugh-Jones. The latter finished runner-up for a sum of $187,200.
Other notable players who made the final table included pros like Nick Schulman ($129,600), Alex Foxen ($72,000), Samuli Sipila ($96,000), Daniel Negreanu ($38,400) and Michael Duek ($28,800).
Ausmus gets to keep his lead on the PGT PLO Series leaderboard. He is now placed second with 420 points, trailing only Matthew Wantman (439 points).
