Japan Poker Union announced its new business partnership with the Natural8 sponsored Asian Poker Tour (APT). The live poker brand is the biggest operating in the Asian circuit.

This partnership between APT and Japan Poker Union is aimed at enhancing the visibility of Japanese players in the international poker circuit and elevating the appeal of poker tournaments held in Japan among players across the globe.

The Japan Poker Union has supported the Japanese players consistently including the ones who have made a mark in domestic tournaments like the Japan Open Poker Tour (JOPT).

The Japan Poker Union also reportedly got into business agreements with winning players which further facilitates their participation in international competitions.

With APT and Japan Poker Union joining forces, there will be more opportunities coming forward for Japanese players to excel on a global stage.

The Japan Poker Union is dedicatedly working towards improving the skills of dealers and staff involved in the poker tournaments.

They further plan to facilitate exchanges via foreign assignments and invite overseas personnel to Japan. This will lead to boosting the overall quality of tournament operations in Japan.

APT has been offering top-notch poker experiences in Asia since 2008. Many Japanese players have been grinding in APT events and the numbers have only seen an upward trajectory.

To further strengthen the presence of Japanese players in APT events, the brand announced on its Instagram handle that Japanese players who participate in Sengoku Poker Tour in Shinjuku, Tokyo and JOPT 2024 Sapporo #02 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, could grab a seat in the upcoming APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024.

Around 50 players will be selected from these two events to enter the APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024. This highly anticipated series will kick off on September 27. The first event to be hosted jointly by APT and Japan Poker Union will be the APT Challenge Japan.
