Artur Martirosian captured his fourth WSOP bracelet and $1,286,285 in Event #24: $25,000 High Roller Six Handed. The Russian all-time money leader overcame a 242 player field and defeated Pavel Plesuv after a marathon heads-up match.
Artur Martirosian has further cemented his status as one of poker's elite players. At just 28 years old, the Russian all-time money leader entered the final table of Event 24: $25,000 High Roller Six Handed No-Limit Hold’em at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas with three bracelets and $32.2 million in career earnings.
Following a dominant performance, he secured his fourth career bracelet along with a top prize of $1,286,285.
The high-stakes event attracted a field of 242 accomplished poker players, creating a total prize pool of $5,687,000. Martirosian established himself as a dominant force early on, maintaining a sizable chip stack throughout most of Day 2.
He carried that momentum into the Day 3 final table, entering the final day second in chips. Martirosian quickly assumed the chip lead from Sean Winter, who ultimately finished the tournament in third place.
From there, the Russian pro maintained control before entering a marathon heads-up match against Moldova's Pavel Plesuv.
“It was kind of smooth," Martirosian stated in a winner's interview with PokerNews. "The whole final table, I grinded and grinded and grinded. I was chip leader almost for the entire final table."
The final table featured a highly competitive line-up of international talent. Among the finalists was four-time bracelet winner Chance Kornuth, alongside Austrian players Marius Gierse and Klemens Roiter.
Rounding out the final table was Yosuke Miki, who was competing to secure another bracelet for Japan during the summer series.
Despite Martirosian controlling the pace of the tournament from Day 2 onward, the final showdown proved to be a significant challenge. Plesuv, an accomplished online player and close friend of Martirosian, put up a fierce resistance during their extended heads-up battle.
Martirosian acknowledged the skill of his final opponent while reflecting on the victory. “I know Pavel pretty well and we are good friends and he’s a good player," Martirosian laughed. "It was tough heads up. He was the best opponent from the final table, after me.”
