888poker's online qualifiers and challenges run August–October.

888poker has started the countdown to its London festival with an online campaign running across August, September and the opening days of October.

The programme combines regular satellites with a format-based challenge and dedicated package freerolls. It all leads to 888poker LIVE London, which returns to The Victoria Casino from October 8–18.

International Qualifiers Already Underway

The first qualifiers began on the international client on August 3.

That schedule will run for just over two months, closing on October 4. Spanish players enter the picture from August 31, with their separate qualifier series finishing on the same date.

The qualifiers will award a combination of Main Event seats and complete live-event packages.

The campaign remains active until the Sunday before the London festival begins, leaving only a four-day break between the end of the online schedule and the start of play at The Vic.

September Brings a Separate Challenge

From September 5, 888poker will also run a challenge across three game formats.

Tournament and BLAST players will work towards a set number of qualifying games, while cash-game players will need to record 500 winning hands.

Any one completed target unlocks a ticket to the LIVE EVENT Freeroll. The challenge closes on September 26, with the freeroll taking place the following evening at 7:00 PM.

Freerolls Award Six London Packages

Four packages valued at $2,500 each will be available through the international campaign.

Spain receives a separate allocation of two €2,200 packages.

The September freeroll provides an additional route alongside the regular satellites, rather than replacing the main qualifier schedule.

The Vic Hosts the October Festival

The online campaign leads into an 11-day live series at Grosvenor’s Victoria Casino.

Running from October 8–18, 888poker LIVE London will bring together the festival’s Main Event, side tournaments and live satellites. The London stop closes out the operator’s main LIVE schedule for the year.

By the time the first live tournament begins, the qualification campaign will have been running for more than two months, first through international satellites, then through the Spanish schedule, the September challenge and the package freerolls.
