The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) has returned to Playground Poker Club in Montreal, with thousands of players chasing championship rings and life-changing payouts.

The first slate of tournaments has already produced memorable victories, large prize pools, and career milestones for Canadian and international players alike.

Yves Perras claimed the opening WSOP-C ring of the Montreal stop in the $1,000 Mini Main Event. Battling through a massive field of 2,289 entries, Perras secured his share of the $755,370 prize pool.

The win was a defining achievement for Perras, who demonstrated remarkable resilience across the tournament to capture the title.

The fast-paced six-handed format attracted 164 entries, creating a $52,480 prize pool. Kevin Javier emerged victorious after hours of competitive play, earning his first WSOP Circuit ring and cementing himself as one of the early highlights of the Playground series.

Event #3: $400 Progressive Bounty

Daniel Evan Notice rose to the occasion in the $400 Progressive Bounty event. With 235 entries contributing to a $54,050 prize pool plus $23,500 in bounties, Notice showcased consistency and effective bounty hunting to secure both the title and his first championship ring.

Event #4: $400 Mega Stack

The $400 Mega Stack event drew 298 players, generating a prize pool of $98,340.
