WPT Prime Schedules Inaugural Texas Stop at The Lodge

The World Poker Tour will hold its first-ever Texas event this fall at The Lodge in Austin. The series, which runs from September 28 to October 13, offers a $1M guaranteed WPT Prime Lodge Championship.
The World Poker Tour will host a full WPT Prime series in Texas for the first time, with The Lodge Card Club in Austin selected as the venue.
The tournament festival is scheduled from September 28 through October 13, 2025. The Main Event of the festival, the WPT Prime Lodge Championship, carries a $1,100 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
The Championship will run from October 9 to 13 and will be part of the WPT Prime circuit’s ongoing leaderboard series.
Alongside the Championship, players can expect a variety of supporting events, including the “Half Milly,” a $400 buy-in tournament with a $500,000 prize pool.
These tournaments serve as qualifiers and additional opportunities to compete at significant stakes during the two-week series.
The Lodge, already known for drawing high volumes of poker traffic, now becomes part of the WPT Prime's broader expansion.
