WPT Global Ends Passport Dollar Program
WPT Global has removed Passport Dollar qualifiers and satellites. Existing balances remain redeemable for live events, tournament tickets, and travel.
WPT Global has announced the immediate discontinuation of its Passport Dollar qualifiers and satellites.
This marks a significant shift in the platform's rewards structure, as players will no longer be able to accumulate Passport Dollars through gameplay.
Despite the removal of the earning mechanism, the platform has confirmed that players with existing Passport Dollar balances retain several options for redemption. These include:
- Live Event Entries: Passport Dollars remain valid for entry into all WPT Global-affiliated live events scheduled through 2025 and 2026. Additional eligible events will be announced as they are confirmed.
- Online Tournament Tickets: Players may choose to convert Passport Dollars into tickets for WPT Global online tournaments.
- Travel Expenses: The process for travel-related withdrawals funded by Passport Dollars remains unchanged, continuing under existing terms.
WPT Global also stated that starting in 2027, any unredeemed Passport Dollars will be eligible for conversion into online tournament tickets.
In a related update, all WPT Passport satellite tickets have been automatically converted into generic multi-table tournament (MTT) tickets. These are now reflected in players’ accounts.
