Stake Poker Adds $1 Million Bad Beat Jackpot For Ring Games
- $1million Bad Beat Jackpot on Stake Poker
- Hold'em & Omaha cash games included

Stake Poker has introduced a $1 million Bad Beat Jackpot across its ring game tables. To qualify, Hold’em and Omaha hands must meet defined criteria. Payouts are based on the specific stake level where the jackpot is triggered.
Stake Poker has rolled out a Bad Beat Jackpot worth $1,000,000, available across eligible Hold’em and Omaha ring game tables.
The jackpot will be awarded under specific hand conditions when a strong hand loses to a stronger one at showdown.
In Hold’em, a minimum of AAAJJ must lose to qualify, while in Omaha, the losing hand must be at least four-of-a-kind twos (2222x) or better. Both winner and loser must use two hole cards, and at least four players must be dealt into the hand.
Conditions for Qualification
To qualify for the jackpot, the hand must reach showdown, and the hole cards used must meet certain criteria.
A pocket pair is necessary when a four-of-a-kind is involved, and the board must not be run more than once—only the first board is considered valid.
Players not dealt hole cards, or who leave the table before the hand concludes, are not eligible to receive a payout from the jackpot.
Breakdown of Jackpot Payout
The jackpot fund is divided based on stake-specific blind levels. Each ring game stake maintains its own jackpot pool. When triggered, the payout is allocated as follows:
- Bad Beat Winner: 8%
- Bad Beat Opponent: 5%
- Other Players: 3% (divided equally)
Both Hold’em and Omaha games contribute to a shared jackpot pool. A portion of ring game rake—2.5%—is directed toward funding the jackpot pools.
Eligible Tables and Prize Distribution
Only ring game tables marked with the Bad Beat Jackpot icon are eligible for the promotion. Sit & Gos and other tournament formats are not included.
Prizes are automatically credited to player wallets at the conclusion of a qualifying hand, and players can view these winnings in their transaction history.
Those who exit the table early forfeit their eligibility, regardless of whether they were involved in the qualifying hand.
Bad Beat Jackpot on Stake Poker
Stake Poker’s introduction of a $1 million Bad Beat Jackpot adds a fixed, rule-based payout option for cash game players involved in rare losing hands.
