The WSOP Circuit returns to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas from December 4–16, 2025, marking its first stop there since 2019. The series intensifies a congested December poker schedule, overlapping with the WPT World Championship and WSOP Paradise.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit has confirmed its return to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas this December, marking its first appearance at the property since 2019.

The series will run from December 4–16, staged in the newly launched PH Poker Room, which opened in May ahead of the 2025 World Series of Poker.

A Busy December for Poker

The December scheduling of the WSOP Circuit stop introduces another significant tournament series into what is already one of the busiest months on the global poker calendar.

While many players welcome the opportunity for more events, the reality is that travel and scheduling conflicts may prove challenging.

From December 2–22, the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship will take place in Las Vegas, headlined by its flagship $10,400 Main Event.

Simultaneously, the WSOP Paradise festival in The Bahamas is scheduled from December 4–18, featuring a slate of bracelet events and highlighted by the $25,000 Super Main Event, which carries a $60 million guaranteed prize pool.

The overlap of these major festivals creates a scenario in which players must make tough choices regarding where to compete.

Both the WPT and WSOP have sought to strengthen player loyalty since 2023 through large guarantees and incentive-driven offerings, leading to an increasingly competitive December landscape.

WSOP Circuit at Planet Hollywood

The Planet Hollywood stop adds a new wrinkle to the competition between series. The property, centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, has a history of hosting notable poker tournaments but has not been part of the WSOP Circuit calendar for several years.

Its return is seen as part of the WSOP’s broader strategy to expand opportunities for players in North America while reinforcing its presence in Las Vegas outside the summer schedule.
